Really AKSHARADHAM in Newjersy, is a architectual wonder of these days. we all went to this SWAMINARAYAN Temple going to launch in very few days, on 3rd June. Though they are telling finishing touches are due still, we felt the actual temple in all ready being visited by the devotees since a long time.
Details of the temple are very interesting. Actually this is the second important temple. The construction of actual temple is yet to be started soon and will be completed within five years. The office building, guest rooms are over and the temple we visited is not open to sky. They have faced some difficulties of erosion and other problems (as to that of the great TAJMAHAL in INDIA) by constructing an OPEN TEMPLE as per the practice in India, at LONDON, So this temple we visited is not opened to sky. This is built by Italian Marble in side (photography prohibited inside) and Belgium Marble outside (photography allowed outside)
The sculptures built outside the temple with Belgium marble with a great devotion were only just an introduction to the inner beauty of the temple.(we have taken fotos in permited places only pl)
Within the temple, I was in full excitement to see the idols of saints like Narada, Valmiki, Vyas, Suka, Markandeya, Astavakra, vallabhacharya, Nimbarkacharya and so many others on the pillars with names too.
I was surprised to see, the idols of Andal, Tiruvalluvar, Thyagaraja, Syama sastry too on the pillars.
Many other bhaktas of all languages like Krishna chaitanya, Meerabai, Kabir, Surdas and many more too.
All these sculptures were made with great devotion in India and they were all transported to NJ with utmost care and placed very meticulously according to the design they have been planned. all the idols are beautiful and sorrounded by Sangitha Vadya kalakars.
The ceiling......what can I say? There are no words with me. All the roofs reminded me of the marble and black stone sculptures at Belur, Halebidu and also of Jaipur. Udaipur too in some places. not even a single corner is left out without any design. full of curves, flowers and various designs.
Elephants and peacocks are real architectural ambassadors of Indian sculpture, I felt.
Swaminarayan cult preaches to be wise in life and it advises us to be corrupt free and sincere too in life.
I am very anxious to hear the news of the main Temple also in near future.

In the prakara of the sanctum, Lord Venkateswara, Shiv Parvathi and Hanuman are also there. Friendz dears, If u come to NJ, don't miss to visit this temple. I have seen Aksharadham at New Delhi and Ahmadabad also. but this temple is best of the other too, in my view. Pl. feel free to comment..

బాలుడై నిత్యమును గాంధర్వ విద్యను భాస్వర కిరణుడై యేలువాడు,
శుభయోగకరమైన సుప్రభాతమ్ములను స్తోత్రగానములతో కొలచువాడు,
మేటి మన బాల గాంధర్వుడితడు,
కోటి శతకొటి రాగాల కోటలోన
మాటకలికి దీవెనలతో రాణదీరి
తేటి తీయందనమ్ముల దనరుగాత!
