Friendz dears,,
Recently while going thru 'Gadhasapthasathi' I stopped near the following 'GADHA' and remembered the 'moon light in harvested fields' as described in this gadha.
Before entering into the actual gadha, I want to focus on the collective work in the villages during agriculture.
One can't live without the help of another in the villages 'cause of their 'inter dependency' policy.
That's how, in villages, all the people call the others as ' akka' 'atta' 'maama' 'bava' 'pinni' 'babayi' 'peddayya' 'peddamma' and so on. They create a bond between themselves though for their own cause, but they like that and do live in those sweet relations. There will not be any artificiality neither in their relations not in their livings.
Once the fields are ripen, they all get together to 'harvest' season and the very next minit, the work will be over.
In 'GADHASAPTHASHATHI' also, village atmosphere is well described in 'Gadhas'.
Pl. look into the following Gadha now.
U r right.....These r all the scenes in the villages in different steps. Gadha Saptha shathi farmer is very happily singing, sitting in his fields in moon light....Why?
'NippaNNA sassa riddhi sachhanDam gaayi pamarO sarayE
bali aNava Saali thandula dhavaLa mi angAsu raYIsu'....
This farmer is very very happy to see the 'Saali thandula' (rice grains) in his fields that r as white as the full moon.Though he is on duty of guarding the rice, he unknowingly, started singing happily in the full moon light, forgetting all his difficulties in the process of agriculture.
yes friendz....The responsibility of farmers in any of the countries. When the farmers r hale and healthy, then only we all get our food. This eternal truth also attracted 'Gadha Kaaras' and that's how
GADHA Sapthashati kaara also described his feelings here.
We all should bow our heads before this friends and his 'Samajika sphruha' (social responsibility) which is the word created thousand years ago it self......Is n't it friendz?
