....
I returned on 5th March morning from Kuppam after attending a National seminar on maa ayyagaru's (Dr.Puttaparthi) 'LITERARY CONTRIBUTION' . My husband sri N.C.Harshavardhan told me that there was ICE Rain in hyd yesterday.(on 4th March). I was very excited that i could not see the rain which very rarely happens here. When we were in USA in 2011, I was very much wondered to see my daughter (Vamsipriya)and my son in law (Sri Karthik Dharmaraju) planning their programmes according to the VERY VERY VERY accurate weather reports with Hour by hour details.I am coming back to the present scene.I have seen this ice rain very long back in Hyd. when my daughter Vamsi and me (in 1993 or '94) were going somewhere in RTC bus in mid summer probably in Mid May.But as I followed the news, this news of recent 'HAIL STORM' in warangal, really shocked like anything.
It created a great loss to farmers, livestock and transport. Some casualties were also there.
Alas....In facebook also some fotos r kept. By seeing them we doubt whether we r here or in Kashmir...I am really feeling sorry for this Natural calamity..But how to prevent this? Is this effect of
'GLOBAL WARMING'? When will the era of 'ACCURATE WEATHER REPORTS' will start in our nation to alarm every one to take atleast some preventive measures to lessen the damage...
In Telugu one proverb is there..do u remember friendz? "VANA RAKADA - PRANAM POKADA..evariki teliyadu"...but how "VANA (even storms ) r being traced much in advance in other parts of the world ?
In my opinion, much of the public money (with which so many developmental ( including accurate weather reports) activities may come true if properly planned) is going into the 'SUIT CASES' of the political leaders unlike in the developed countries...but yeh....We r much advanced in population, crime, atrocities against women (Inter. Women's day- 8th March ) corruption, cinemas, cricket and so on..
Mmmmmmmm...U may say that 'This is the ' HRUDAYARANYA RODANAM' of all the educated 'BHARATEEYULU'....Sorry for disturbing u.......
