Friendz dears.....
I learnt Maharaja 'HALA's collection of prakritha gadhas before my marriage. i was so attracted for the very simple, straight, innocent but touching expressions of the prakritha poets. I want to share some of them with u so that u can also experience the real beauty of real poetry.

Ama ama a ga a Na sehara ra a Nee mriha tila a
      canda dE chivasu
      chittO jehim mamam pi tEhim
      vi a karEhim...
Meaning:  O Amritmay!!!!! An ornament of skies!!!! kumkum of the Lady night!!!!! Chandra!!!! Pl...touch me with ur hands (rays) with which u have touched my lover....
How sweet!!!! Is there any other innocent but touching expression of love other than this?
This lady is a 'PROSHITHA PATHIKA' whose husband is not in town during this lovely moon light day. She feels to get  atleast the touch of her husband thru the moon who is at a time visible and near to both of them.

Friendz....
       Good
   Morning..
to all dears....

PARVATHI NINNU NE - KALA GADA RAGAM - SHYAMA SASTRI KRITHI - By AMBIKAPU...

....

Friendz dears..
May the 'GODDESS PARVATHI' shower all her blessings on us on this auspicious festival of NAVRATRI. Today being 'VIJAYADASAMI' we all should pray to the 'Jaganmaatha' to give us courage and skills to win over all the bad elements and reach the 'VIJAYAVEDIKA' as she does previously.
We being her dear children, will definitely understand her abilities and strengths to fight against many a hurdles that we come across in this materialistic world. 'cause she definitely has trained like that. though some of us may be having the 'RAJO and THAMO' gunas. But she being the 'SUPER GOOD MOTHER' (as Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada said) 'kuputro jayeth kwachidapi kumaatha na bhavathi' she will definitely teach us to overcome those lapses.
Friendz, The above song in raga 'kalagada' is written by Syamasastrygaru one of the precious jewels in the 'TRINITY of music'. He was also an ardent upasaka of the GODDESS who wrote many classical compositions with the KRUPA of the mother. More an' more 'MANTRA SASTRA BEEJAKSHARA' are inter veined in those songs so that the musicians practising those compositions also will unknowingly get the blessings of the 'Parvathi' amma.
I like this song very much. I believe u also will enjoy this song in this festive occasion. Once again 'Happy Vijaya Dasami' to all of u friendz dears.....

Bhaavayami Part I

....

Friendz dears,
No words to decribe my feelings while seeing Sri Sharathgaru's performance in this song.
I first saw Miss Kalpana singing this song on  'bol baby bol' recent series (finals). I saw this complete song without a single movement. not even blinking my eyes once, I think so.
Just like a stone..........
But in my heart of hearts, I thought  to listen to the original song.
Thru FC I came to know about the creator of the song 'Sri Sharathgaru'.
Really Malayalam cinema is very fortunate to have this composer/singer in their film field even.
Cinema though was started with a pious thought of being a TOOL of social awareness and fruitful changes in the society, but in recent times it has taken a very 'nasty and ugly shape of 'Skin show' 'violence' 'vulgarity' and what not.
Using 'Cinema' for social cause has become almost a 'GAGANA KUSUMAM' now a days.
But if produced, there is a cross section of people, to promote even good pictures like our 'Sankarabharanam' 'Sagara Sangamam' 'Swarna kamalam' 'Swathi Kiranam'   'Aapadbabdhavudu' and some old pouranika  'Patams'(tamil) like 'Pandava Vanavasam' 'Narthana saala' and good humour films like Jandhyala's.
But in our Telugu cinemas, music is to be taken up more experimentation and care even.
Melody though much more needed, but in my view, fusion and 'copy-paste' practise is more being followed in our cinemas. .
But  experiments like the above ones, r always welcome if properly handled.
In the above filmi Ragamalika, much more EASE and practice is clearly seen.
I dont know which machine of 'RAGAS' is settled in the throat of Sharathgaru. Very easily, he is going from one raga to the other, the gamakas, and the jathis too r mindblowing.
Not only the mridangam artist, but all the artists on instruments have done a great job making this song a great success.
Composer gets all the credit of the above song.
U pl. enjoy the beauty of 'DEMONISTIC'practice of the singer cum composer of this song. I reitorate ...
Malayalam Film field is very fortunate to have Sri Sharath garu with them.....
